These two brothers revolutionized the aeronautics world.  The brothers were known to the world as the Wright Brothers.  The older brother was Wilbur Wright. And the younger brother was Orville Wright. Before their invention of the man powered airplane, they were just bicycle business owners.  But their hobby and interest was in flying. Although there may be controversy as to who the early aviators were, they were the most famous and generally accepted. They made the “impossible” flight for human beings become “possible”, one step at a time through willpower, innovation and fascination. Also through their experiments and research at Kitty Hawk, they did everything through trial and error. The two brothers encountered many failures through the process of making their airplane, but in the end they finally succeeded. This in my opinion was extremely worth it. Who would know where the world would be today without the Wright brothers extraordinary invention.

The Wright brothers’ fascination is rooted from when they were little.  When they were little, their father gave them a flying toy (made of bamboo, paper, rubber bands and a cork) and that is where everything begins. That little flying toy was so small yet so fascinating and remarkable to them. It is amazing how even the tiniest things can create such a huge impact on people. With innovation and imagination, they started on their thoughts of the flying instrument/ soon to be known as the airplane. Although at first, the designs had many flaws. They soon fixed everything they could one step at a time.  Like everything in the world, it had its pros and cons. The airplane brought the world together yet still making it very distanced apart.  For example the harshness and coldness of war (in the near future) distanced many countries and its people far apart from each other. But the airplane also brought many people and their family back together. The airplane is sort of like the yin and yang symbol that represented the people all over the world. They basically balanced each other out.

What the Wright brothers did is truly inspiring. To think that they were just Bicycle business owners who were fascinated with the idea of flight since they were little, and then turning that fascination into a “dream come true”.  I for one know that many people would get discouraged at countless attempts to do something, let alone trying to invent things, but these two brothers did not. That is why the Wright brothers are amazing to me. They proved the world wrong that you did not have to be a genius nor popular nor very rich to invent an invention and revolutionize the world itself.  They were just ordinary people like you or me, yet they still did what they could at the time with their available resources.  The brothers were very ambitious in what they were doing and were soon rewarded. This shows that anyone, and I mean anyone, can perform something to change the world. Even if they weren’t that acknowledged at the time, they were soon acknowledged for it in the future. They were one of my most favorite inventors to learn about when i was little. Overall, I really find them astonishing and the brothers truly are outstanding inventors and deserved to be remembered for what they did.
