At some point in life, everyone deals with death. How about when it’s your turn to come face to face with death? Are you going to have any regrets in life? I’ve never really put much thought into it until I read the article “5 Ways To Avoid The Biggest Regrets Of Dying“. After I read this article, I felt as if my whole life was in a new perspective. It explained to me, 5 things people
usually regret before dying.
Out of all 5 regrets, I only thought 4 of those were true. However, I did take all 5 things into consideration, but only 4 of them seemed true to me. The four I thought were true, were things I know I’m now going to try to achieve before death. Things like, living my life and expressing my feelings are some stuff I’m going to accomplish before i die. You never know when death is coming, so you might want to finish some of these regrets soon. Stay in touch with your friends because sooner or later you’re going to regret loosing contact with them. Don’t miss out on all those little happy things because those are the best things in life. You need those little moments to be happy sometimes, and if you die without having enough of those little moments then you’re going to regret it.
The other one regret, wasn’t something I thought I’d regret when I face death. The regret I thought wasn’t something you shouldn’t regret was Regret #2, I wish I didn’t work so hard. I think In life you need to work hard, so you could achieve your goals and live the life you’ve always wanted to live. You need to work hard in order to get what you want in life. If you don’t then there’s no challenge and life is just plain boring, and that’s something you’ll really regret because no one wants a boring life. Other people work really hard and in return, get amazing lives. Like Bill Gates, he lives very glamourously and has that life because he worked hard for it. So in order to have a good life that you won’t regret, you need to work hard and set goals to achieve so you can earn that happy glamourous life.
This article really put a lot in perspective for me, because I always knew that death was never planned but I never really put much thought into it. Death can come whenever is feels like it, and if you die before you can get to do some of these things then you probably won’t feel accomplished. Although, if you end up completing everything then maybe you will be okay with death because you have completed some things that a lot of people don’t think about finishing before death. So while you still have it, you should think about your goals and some things you know you’ll regret before death. So you can complete them and feel accomplished when death comes knocking at your door.
